Two bottles can have very different prices and still cost the same amount to use each day. They can also have similar prices and last very different lengths of time.
That is why a useful comparison goes beyond the price tag.
First, compare what is inside
Check the ingredient amounts and the number of tablets, capsules, or servings in each bottle. Then check the daily amount appropriate for your dog.
Products with different ingredients and concentrations are not automatically interchangeable. A lower daily price alone does not tell you whether a product is a suitable choice.
Next, calculate the supply
For tablets, the calculation is straightforward:
Tablets per bottle ÷ tablets used per day = days of supply
Bottle price ÷ days of supply = product cost per day
Here is an example using a 60-tablet bottle priced at $36.99:
| Daily total used | Bottle duration | Product cost per day |
|---|---|---|
| ¼ tablet | 240 days | $0.15 |
| ½ tablet | 120 days | $0.31 |
| 1 tablet | 60 days | $0.62 |
| 1½ tablets | 40 days | $0.92 |
These are supply calculations, not individualized dosing recommendations. Costs are rounded and exclude shipping and tax. Use the daily amount appropriate for your dog; do not reduce it simply to make a bottle last longer.
What does “up to eight months” mean?
At one-quarter tablet per day, 60 tablets provide 240 days of supply—approximately eight 30-day months.
At a larger daily amount, the same bottle lasts fewer days. Showing the calculation alongside the claim helps you understand what applies to your own routine.
Include the rest of the purchase
For your total delivered cost per day, include shipping and applicable tax. Check the expiration date and storage instructions before ordering several bottles.
At 360 Pet Care, orders of two or more bottles shipped together to the same U.S. address qualify for free shipping. That may be useful for a household with multiple dogs or a larger daily requirement. The right quantity still depends on what you will use.
Make the comparison personal
A useful value calculation answers three questions:
Is this product appropriate? How long will it last? What will I actually spend?
Our supply planner brings the bottle-duration and product-cost calculations together, so you can review them before adding anything to your bag.
